FERPA, or the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act, grants parents specific rights concerning their children's education records. Among these rights is the ability to seek amendments to the records if they believe that information is inaccurate, misleading, or in violation of the student’s privacy rights. This means that if a parent feels that certain details within their child's educational records are not correct, they can request the school to correct or amend that information. This right is crucial for ensuring the integrity and accuracy of student information and protecting students' rights.

The other options do not accurately reflect the rights provided by FERPA. While parents are involved in their children's education and can have input on various aspects, FERPA specifically focuses on the privacy and accuracy of educational records rather than providing rights to modify curriculum, teacher assignments, or overall school policies.
